Volleyball (5th-8th grade girls)
- Coaches focus on the development of fundamental skills and the enjoyment of the game.
- The team participates in the Metro Christian League as a co-ed program.
- Players learn the values of hard work, team work, and sportsmanship.
- Practices are held during the week at Columbia Christian.
Soccer (6th-8th grade co-ed)
- Coaches focus on the development of fundamental skills and the enjoyment of the game.
- The team participates in the Metro Christian League as a co-ed program.
- At this level, all players receive playing time.
- Practices are held during the week at Columbia Christian.
Cross Country (5th-8th grade boys and girls)
- Coaches focus on the development of fundamental skills and an enjoyment of the game.
- Practices are held during the week at Columbia Christian with some races being on Saturdays.
Basketball (5th-8th grade boys and girls)
- Coaches focus on the development of fundamental skills and the enjoyment of the game.
- Athletes are split into a 5/6 boys' team, a 5/6 girls' team, a 7/8 boys' team, and a 7/8 girls' team.
- The team participates in the Metro Christian League as a co-ed program.
- Players learn the values of hard work, team work, and sportsmanship.
Track and Field (5th-8th grade boys and girls)
- Coaches focus on the development of fundamental skills and the enjoyment of the game.
- Practices are held during the week.
- Students participate in one meet a week at a school located in the Portland-metro area.
Athletic Gold Clearance Card
To be eligible to play a sport, athletes must receive a Gold Clearance Card from the Athletic Department.
Gold Clearance Cards will be given to students who complete the following items through the High School Office/Athletic Department: Click on the items in bold for necessary forms and documents.
- Pay the athletic fee:
- High School Sports Fee = $175 per sport with a student maximum of $350 per school year.
- Middle School Sports Fee = $125 per sport with a maximum of $250 per school year.
- Submit online Sports Registration Form - 5th-8th grade track & field
- Submit a valid Physical Form completed by your doctor (physicals are good for 2 years)
- Submit a completed Concussion Informed Consent Form
- Submit a signed Acknowledgment of reading the Athletic Handbook
The Athletic Department keeps the above-listed forms for the full school year. If a student participated in a sport earlier in the school year, it is not necessary to turn in the forms again. However, they will still need to stop by the athletic office to receive another Gold Card.
