What is the Legacy of Stewardship Campaign and why do we need your help?

 

We need your help now to ensure Columbia Christian School (CCS) provides a Christ-centered education for generations to come! A $3.5 million balloon payment is due June 2028 and we’re seeking to retire the school’s debt before that date.

CCS has been blessed with a legacy of supporters who have helped sustain the school since 1947.

With the acquisition of the former Columbia Christian College/Cascade College campus in 2009, CCS was incredibly blessed with a beautiful campus and room to grow. However, the acquisition also brought substantial debt.

While CCS has never missed a payment, it has a $3.5 million balloon payment due on 1 June 2028.

The CCS Board of Trustees has launched the Legacy of Stewardship Campaign with the goal of retiring the school's debt by May 2028.
 

How to Donate

Donate via Check

Donations made via check can be mailed to:

Donate via Credit/Debit Card

Donations can be made via credit or debit card through our donation portal here.

Donate from IRA

Taxpayers 70½ or older can distribute up to $100,000 each year, tax-free, directly from your IRA to Columbia Christian Schools. This type of charitable distribution can apply towards the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and still be excluded from adjusted gross income. If you and your spouse file a joint tax return, your spouse can also make a charitable contribution of up to $100,000.

Pledges

If you wish to donate through a recurring scheduled pledge, please contact our Development Department at development@columbiachristian.com.  We will work on getting you the required paperwork for your pledge.

 

Donate of Real Estate/Real Property

Real estate and/or real property donations may be accepted. However, additional property evaluation must be considered and completed prior to acceptance of the donation.
