Elementary School
Columbia's elementary curriculum focuses on providing children with skills needed to read, communicate, solve problems, use technology, and apply this knowledge to everyday situations. Columbia's teachers approach all subjects from a Biblical perspective.
Students experience one-on-one, small-group and whole-class learning opportunities with teachers who know their students' needs. Specialists provide instruction in art, music, physical education, and library media to further enrich the curriculum.
The academic day begins at 8:30 AM and concludes at 3:30 PM. Extended Day is available before and after school. The school year typically runs from early-September through mid-June.
