FromMr. Rude, Elementary/Middle School Chapel Coordinator: Columbia! I have aservice opportunity for incoming 7th-12th graders! For the past few summers,Columbia has been hosting a “local mission trip” here in Portland. We arecontinuing our work at Agape Village and this year we hope to finalize all the projectsthat need to be done. Agape Village is a transitional tiny-home villageand is located right off I-205 and Powell behind Central Church of the Nazarene(maybe you’ve seen it on the side of the hill!) We have various jobs ranging inmany different levels of difficulty and abilities. The tasks includemany stages of construction and general clean-up of this wonderful missionand ministry. We’ll be working July 18-20 from 8:30am-3:00pm andtransportation will be provided from/to our campus each day.
