Do I need a ticket to attend this event?
Yes! Just like an in-person event, we are asking all guests to RSVP so you can stay informed with event information. RSVP by clicking here.
How much does it cost to attend this event?
This event is free! However, guests can choose to financially support Columbia by participating in our online auction by bidding on the amazing auction packages we have, or making a gift online before, during, or after the livestream event.
How does the online auction work?
The entire auction is online this year. The online auction will open at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 14, 2021, and will close at 7:30 PM on Saturday, May 22, 2021. When the auction begins, you will be able to view each auction package and bid as often and as much as you'd like. If you don't want to bid on items but still want to support the school, you will also be able to make donations before and during the event through the online auction website.
What will the program be like during the virtual event?
The livestream program will be a celebration of our community, and it will be an opportunity for you to support Columbia during this critical time. We will celebrate our sponsors, hear from our special guest speaker Bethany Hamilton, and share a powerful message of our impact. Then, auctioneer Johnna Wells will have some great live auction packages for you to bid on and a special appeal you can donate to during and after the livestream.
How do I participate in the virtual event?
When you RSVP we know that you will join us for the virtual event. We’ll invite you to register as a bidder and keep you informed on exciting event details.
How do I watch the livestream event?
The week of the event, we will post the link to the livestream here. We recommend you tune in with 2 devices (computer/tablet and mobile phone) or open 2 tabs on your computer. This will allow you to watch the livestream and bid and give in the mobile bidding platform during the event.
How can I purchase an auction item or donate to Columbia Christian?

If I win an online auction package, how do I pick-up that package?
If you win an auction package, we will designate a pick-up day at the school. For auction winners who reside outside the Portland Metro area, our staff will contact you to arrange shipping and delivery. Auction winners, who reside in the Portland Metro area, should pick-up not be advisable, please reach out to Auction coordinator, Jason Housley by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or 503-252-2108, to arrange delivery.
