Columbia Christians Schools is proud to share that Jason Smith, a seventh grade student here at CCS, has recently published his first book! Jason's book is titled Kitten and the Painted Autumn Leaves and available for purchase from Amazon.com. Mark and Malena Smith, Jason's parents, commented, "We are so proud of Jason and his work. We are thankful for the feedback he received from teachers and students when he wrote this book last year and thankful for the encouragement he received from some teachers to publish this book." Jason completed the book, both its writing and illustration, in March of 2009. An elder at Jason's congregation, David Sanford, comments, "What a delight to see Jason's book now in print and for sale on Amazon. Warner Pacific College already made a commitment to give away copies to elementary schools throughout the greater Portland area. You may want to consider giving a copy to the young readers (ages 4 to 8) in your life. Highly recommended!"
