Dear CCS Parents,
As the school year unfolds administration continues to evaluate facilities and evacuation procedures in order to provide the safest environment for the students attending Columbia Christian Schools. CCS is pleased to announce within the next two weeks a local contractor will be installing a five foot fence around the campus. Once the fence is installed gates will be locked each day shortly after 8:00 am. Between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm all visitors will be required to report to the school office. Thank you in advance for adhering to this important new policy.
In addition to the new fence the building will be locked at 5:00 pm each day. Currently our janitor has been letting students in after hours to pick up books and needed school materials. This places our janitor in a position where he feels responsible for school property and the personal belongings of the student body. Please help the administration by speaking with your child/children and encourage them to make sure they have all their necessary belongings when they leave for the day.
